Artificial intelligence is constantly portrayed as an all-knowing oracle, a tool that can analyze, predict, and generate almost everything. Heck, it can even create brutal NSFW content, even though these kinds of things are almost always blocked in most popular LLM’s.
However, AI (or large language models) are not immune to error. At all!

In fact, they have an interesting way of failing—one that is kind of unsettling. This phenomenon is known as AI hallucination—when an AI generates outputs that are nonsensical, incoherent, or entirely fabricated.
And so, recently, I accidentally produced an AI-generated word salad that perfectly illustrates this issue. What started as a simple request for information turned into a surreal avalanche of disconnected words, broken syntax, and bizarre associations.
So, what did I ask it?
Well, I asked it to describe my website, as I usually do, to see what AI knows about it. I’ve asked the same question numerous times, and each time, I’ve received a very good answer that describes different articles, the overall theme of the site, etc…
But this time, it was something completely different. Oh man, I was both amazed and confused by the result. At first, I thought I had broken into some kind of matrix!
Well, that last part is a joke, but the output really did confuse me.
